Walters Group is a successful family-owned steel construction company that designs, fabricates and constructs projects throughout North America. Walters had always kept a low profile, so they didn’t know where to start to professionalize their marketing to align with their growth.

I helped unify the brand, create a new website to showcase the company’s incredible work and establish a social media presence that led to the development of a cohesive marketing program. Clients now recognize Walters as a leader in the industry, they are attracting top talent and employees feel proud to be a part of such an amazing company.

Quickly bringing a new offering to the market

The Challenge

Jen Arron is a studio-based textile artist who offers weaving classes through her Open Hearts Weaving School.

When Jen had to cancel classes in her studio due to COVID-19, she had an inspired idea: offering online weaving classes for children with nothing to do while school was cancelled. She asked for help launching her idea quickly and effectively.

The Outcome

After one session together, Jen had a clear plan and got to work. Within a week, she’d launched — and sold out — her first Little Open Hearts Weaving School classes. The experience opened up a whole new understanding of her passion for teaching and a new revenue stream for her business.

A former professional dancer, Eden Haugland is a Pilates instructor who integrates the ELDOA Method and osteopathy into her work with clients. Positioning an evolving business with a new audience

Fresh Squeezed Ideas (FSI) had evolved from a social-science based research company to a brand strategy partner. They needed help to reposition the business and build relationships with a new audience of senior marketers. Frustrated by past attempts at marketing, they wanted my expertise in business-to-business marketing.

By the end of my engagement, FSI had a clear brand story, branding that reflected the innovative and creative nature of their business and a plan to go to market in a focused way. Their new proposition resonated well in the marketplace and they are growing.

Our story is one that demonstrates everyone can benefit from a consultant. Even though we are strategists ourselves, it is simply difficult for the entrepreneur to separate themselves from their own business and be objective.
